As in previous years, Almagro International Classical Theatre Festival is focusing on bringing theatre managers from Latin America and Europe into contact with Spanish creators in order to foster the internationalisation of Spanish culture, encourage exchanges, and make Spanish plays and playwrights known beyond the country, raising their profile.
The 4th edition of the international theatre management sessions (Encuentro Internacional de Gestión Teatral) will take place during the third weekend of the festival. It provides managers with the opportunity to meet the professionals taking part in the festival during these sessions designed to promote exchange and knowledge of Spanish theatre professionals. Managers can also attend the various shows that are part of the official programme as well as those featured in the 5th international children’s Baroque competition and the 6th Almagro Off competition. It is therefore an important means of overseas promotion
