400 Iberian Years for Keyboard. Recital

With the support of AC/E, the New York Opera Society (NYOS) is presenting the recital 400 Iberian Years for Keyboard performed by the Spanish pianist Rosa Torres Pardo as part of the 5 @ 5 at DiMenna - Hell´s Kitchen cycle at the Dimenna Center for Classical Music in New York. The New York Opera Society helps further the professional careers of prominent international artists by providing them with opportunities to perform on new stages and to new audiences. It also welcomes international artists through an international programme of artists’ residencies, giving them publicity.

Rosa Torres Pardo (Madrid, 1960) is an internationally renowned concert pianist. She has collaborated with famous orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London, and with conductors such as Spivakov, Dutoit and Termikanov. She has also performed in leading venues such as the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, The Moscow Hall of Columns, the Wigmore Hall in London, the Koncerthaus in Berlin and many European theatres. In 2004, Rosa Torres Pardo received the Isaac Albéniz medal along with Alicia de Larrocha.
