Miami Dade College's Miami Film Festival's mission is to bridge cultural understanding and encourage artistic development by provoking thought through film. By bringing the best of world cinema to Miami, the Festival presents the city and the film industry with a singular platform that fosters creative and technical talent.
The 36th edition of MDC's Miami Film Festival will take place from March 1-10, 2019. For 10 days the festival presents to Miami audiences the best of the world's cinema, including the highlights of the Spanish productions of the year. Their programme showcases over 110 films in more than 7 venues across the city. Over a 110 filmmakers are attending this year's festival, and have the wonderful opportunity to share their films with a receptive audience and with members of the film industry alike.
