Every year, more than 25,000 French people attend the Nantes Spanish Film Festival, first held in 1990, during the second half of March. With more than two hundred screenings of nearly sixty feature-length films and some twenty shorts in their original language with subtitles and the presence of more than fifty filmmakers, the city of Jules Verne has become a showcase for Spanish films in France with cycles, competitions, special nights, exhibitions, meetings and concerts.
For the 27th Nantes Spanish Film Festival (which runs from 22 March to 2 April 2017), AC/E is supporting the participation of contemporary creators who will present their latest works and take part in roundtables with film professionals as well as in sessions with audiences. It is planned to invite 50 professionals from the world of film and culture.
