Huelva Ibero-American Film Festival (Festival de Cine Iberoamericano de Huelva) is one of the most significant in its area of specialisation. With nearly four decades of experience, this film festival, once the only European point of entry for Ibero-American cinema, is now the most complete, appealing and representative Ibero-American audio-visual offering in Spain and one of the most authentic and prestigious in the whole of Europe.
The screenings at the 40th festival will be focused on Panama, whose film industry will likewise enjoy a prominent present both in the competition section and at the Coproduction Forum. The competition will also show a large representative range of Ibero-American films of the past year, bringing together the film industry from both sides of the Atlantic in the 15th Coproduction Huelva Forum and is a must on the calendar of major international festivals devoted to the Spanish and Portuguese languages.
This year Huelva Ibero-American Film Festival, with the support of AC/E, is inviting journalists Alejandra Musi (El Universal, Mexico) and Carlos Domínguez (La Prensa, Colombia).
