The 17th Jeonju International Film Festival 2016

Launched in 2000, Jeonju International Film Festival has pioneered a unique territory in the realm of film festival circles. The motto of Jeonju IFF is introducing artworks at the frontline of the alternative streams and independent spirit from the contemporary cinema. The program of Jeonju IFF focuses on offering experiences media evolutions in both aesthetic and technical aspects.

In order to overcome film industry’s unilateral trend of pursuing ‘profits’, the festival values ‘various preference’ and ‘new challenges’ as top priority. Jeonju IFF not only supports finding new talents, creative experiments and independent spirits, but also connects them to make a bigger picture. The 17th Jeonju International Film Festival will be held on April 28th to May 7th, 2016 in traditionally beautiful city of Korea, Jeonju.
