The Salón Internacional del Libro Teatral iInternational theatre book fair) was established by the Asociación de Autores de Teatro (theatre writers’ association) to disseminate both plays and texts relating to specialities in the performing arts. One of its chief aims to promote publishing in the theatre sector in order to create new theatre audiences who are more demanding and better equipped to understand everything that theatre art has to offer.
