12 Belgrade Dance Festival 2015

Belgrade Dance Festival is one of the most prominent contemporary European dance events and this year’s edition, the twelfth, features an attractive selection of works from the international scene. AC/E is collaborating through the PICE mobility grants by supporting the participation of the Sol Picó dance company.

Sol Picó is a professional dance company established in 1994 by the dancer and choreographer Sol Picó.  Her work is a blend of different genres that interact. Her refined technique combines strength, precision and dynamism, which underpin the organic treatment of her creations, which are constantly infused with dynamic humour.

Belgrade Dance Festival has quickly captured a large audience. Featuring creations by today’s leading choreographers, each edition is followed by more than 18,000 spectators and 120 accredited national and international journalists. The festival is a springboard for young dancers, dance professionals, choreographers and young people from all fields of art.
