Festival de Música Sacra de Bogotá 2013

The festival,organized by the Cultural Corporation Intercolombia, aims to promote disclosure, contemplation and study of sacred music through concerts, conferences and workshops. It also tries to strengthen bilateral relations between institutions and international cultural networks, while promoting the exchange of artists.

AC / E, through its mobility program, supports the participation in this second edition of the Spanish group Axivil Aljamía with his repertoire of Moorish and Sephardic romances. The music includes from the purely Andalusian to the romances of the Moors originated in the centuries of Moorish presence in the Spanish lands of Christian rule.

The group consists of the following musicians: Felipe Sánchez Mascuñano (lute and director), Israel Peace (singer), Javier Paxariño (winds), Jack Martinez (hurdy gurdy and percussion).
