En la ciudad noruega de Trondheim, entre la autopista
y el mar, se levanta una torre
de madera de tres pisos con
una escalera hasta la cima. A
los bañistas del Sjøbadet les gustan las emociones fuertes, experimentar en el límite de la ciudad con los propios límites de su cuerpo. Bañarse en el agua muy fría, desplomar su esqueleto desde muy alto o tomar el sol en todo su cuerpo. Estas prácticas se han constituido en una tradición, ya son varias generaciones las que ocupan su tiempo en las cercanías de esta torre. Los bañistas del Sjøbadet han terminado por elaborar un sofisticado alfabeto
de gestos y de signos del que solo algunos pocos conocen los secretos.

In the Norwegian city of Trondheim, between the motorway and the sea, there is a three-
floor wooden tower with a flight
of stairs leading to its top. The bathers at Sjøbadet like strong emotions, like experimenting
at the city’s limits with the
limits of their bodies. Bathing
in the very cold water, their skeletons plummeting from
very high, or feeling the sun all over their body. These practices have coalesced into a tradition; various generations have already spent their time in the environs
of the tower. The bathers of Sjøbadet have finally elaborated a sophisticated alphabet of gestures and signs, whose secrets are known only by very few.
