Gaudí y la Sagrada Familia de Barcelona. Arte, ciencia y espiritualidad

It is the first time the work of Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926) is exhibited in the Vatican City, in particular through his most emblematic work nowadays: the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia. The aim is not so much to present a comprehensive overview of the architect's work, nor to adopt an overly technical approach, but rather to introduce visitors to this remarkable place of worship so as to arouse in them the desire to explore it for themselves, not only because of its magnificence but also with the purpose of sharing the spirit of peace and concord that emanates from the work. The exhibition is based on photographs, models, audiovisuals and original works by Gaudí, drawn mainly from the Museu del Temple de la Sagrada Familia, the Museu d’Història de Catalunya, the workshop and archive of the Sagrada Família and the Triangle Postals SL photographic archive.
