Centenary of the poet's arrival in Baeza

2012 marks one hundred years since the mutual encounter between Antonio Machado and the town of Baeza, in other words a hundred years since his return to Andalusia after his time spent with his family in Madrid, his trips to Paris and his years teaching at Soria High School.
Given the importance which the poet's time in Baeza had for Spanish poetry, it is a circumstance worthy of cultural celebration and a tribute to the poet, to which Acción Cultural Española AC/E) is also lending its support.
